Millennium Wood Wildlife Area Walks Pitch 'n' Putt Tea Room & Shop Our Wildlife Who We Are Where We Are Opening Times
Glenholm Wildlife Project |
At the end of your walk, or maybe as an appetiser before you venture out, stop off at the Glenholm Tea Room in the Glenholm Centre for a coffee and cakes. Or if you prefer to watch your wildlife in comfort, view television pictures of the Glenholm pond beamed directly into the Tea Room while enjoying a light lunch. The Tea Room serves tea, coffee, cakes and snack lunches all day. If you wish to bring a large group please let us know your needs in advance.
If you’re looking for gifts or cards the Glenholm Gift Shop stocks a small range of locally produced or wildlife related souvenirs, as well as a small selection of Fair Trade products. It also has a small gallery of prints, paintings and drawings produced by local artists and photographers. To find out more about Glenholm, a typical Southern Uplands glen, and learn about its history, wildlife and agriculture, pop into the Glenholm Gift Shop to buy booklets and laminated 'Have You Seen?' sheets listing some of the things you might see. The shop also stocks a few other more general books about Scottish wildlife and Scottish Borders history.
Access to the outdoor features of the Glenholm Wildlife Project (the waymarked walks, the hide, the Millennium Wood and the golf course) is possible at any time and at any time of year. However the Tea Room and Gift Shop are only open at the following times:
The Tea Room and Gift Shop are closed from 25th December to the end of January.
