Quality Computer Training in a Relaxed Setting between Peebles and Biggar

This is a four-hour course designed for those who can already use a computer and know the basics of Microsoft Excel (how to enter and format data and set up simple formulas), but wish to produce and easily maintain more complex files (workbooks) containing several spreadsheets. The training content is outlined below.

At the end of the course participants will be able to: set up multiple sheets with a standard structure quickly and efficiently; work with formulas that use values in other sheets and even other Excel files (workbooks); document their work so that others can work with the same data more easily; protect parts of their spreadsheet from accidental or deliberate modification.

The course follows on from the basic Excel course. A third Excel course dealing with the use of Excel to simulate a database is not dependent on this course..

The course typically runs during a morning from 9.00 AM to 1.00 PM but could span four hours in the middle of the day if preferred. Participants may also be residential.
